A Non-Profit Charity and NGO Organization working with Girls and their Community.

Husika Trust exist to deconstruct the systemic barriers facing women and girls in rural and peri-urban settings including access to Sexual reproductive health education and services, high rates of gender -based violence (GBV), being excluded in governance and harmful social norms. Through organizing, training and advocacy we provide support for local leadership and grassroots solutions aimed at improving their wellbeing and promoting gender justice.
Our Programs and Initiatives
At Husika Trust, we are committed to creating a world where gender equality is not just a principle, but a lived reality for all women and girls, regardless of their background, identity, or location.
Under this pillar, we work towards eliminating harmful gender norms, supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), and providing comprehensive SRHR education that is inclusive of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW).
This pillar focuses on building the leadership capacity of young women to enable their meaningful participation in democratic governance and decision-making processes. We empower women and girls to demand accountability from institutions and leaders, fostering their agency in shaping policies and practices that impact their lives at community, national, and regional levels.
We actively work to bridge the digital gender gap by equipping girls and women with essential digital literacy and employable skills. This enables them to navigate and leverage digital opportunities, participate safely in online civic spaces, and apply their skills to shape leadership and drive social change through technology.
